After earning her Master of Music degree, Kassie was presented with the opportunity to step foot in the Maryland cannabis industry, thus the start of her career in 2019.
In August of the same year, Kassie moved to Kansas City, MO, for professional growth in her music career while still keeping a pulse on the newly legalized cannabis market. In March 2021, she accepted a position as a budtender with Kansas City Cannabis, working her way up to Fulfillment Lead, Inventory Lead, and Purchasing Manager.
In June 2024, Kassie stepped into the role of Principal Procurement Specialist at Local Cannabis Company. There, she oversaw product acquisition, guided sales and promotional strategy, and nurtured key relationships throughout the Missouri cannabis industry. Her work centered on aligning inventory with market needs and supporting store performance through thoughtful, data-driven procurement.
In December 2025, Kassie began a new chapter with Curio Wellness as the Retail Procurement Associate for the Missouri market. In this position, she partners closely with leadership across markets to shape buying strategy, develop regional promotions, and build scalable systems for Curio’s expanding retail footprint. Her role reflects both her expertise in Missouri’s cannabis landscape and her passion for creating strong, collaborative vendor partnerships.

Additionally, Kassie is currently the Co-President of We Are JAINE, a Missouri-based women's cannabis association dedicated to empowering women by providing the resources to expand and succeed within the industry.
She is also the founder and bassist of Infused Sound Healing, a Kansas City-based guided meditation and live sound bath experience. Infused Sound Healing was created to give people a safe space to unwind and find peace from the daily grind while celebrating the medicinal benefits of both cannabis and music.
